Moving Through Health
Moving Through Health is a radio show / podcast exploring the intersection of art, wellbeing and long-term health conditions and disabilities.
It’s hosted by Hannah and Kevin with guests working across art and wellbeing practices, and / or living with long term health conditions. Each episode discusses a different aspect of creativity and health from a range of perspectives and lived experience. It will culminate with a live broadcast panel discussion as the closing event of the exhibition of Hannah and Kevin’s multi media project Learning To Fall at Leeds Art Gallery in November 2026.

Episode 1
Recorded July 17th 2026: Derek Horton interviewed Hannah and Kevin.
Derek Horton is a writer and curator. After working on adventure playgrounds and community arts projects in the late-1970s, he taught for many years in higher education and was Director of Research at Leeds Metropolitan University’s School of Contemporary Art and Graphic Design. In 2008 he co-founded the online magazine Soanyway which he currently co-edits. He has been Visiting Professor at the School of Art, Birmingham City University, and was a director of &Model gallery in Leeds from 2013 to 2017, and he is currently a trustee of Cubitt Artists, London. He recently co-curated a major exhibition for Touchstones Rochdale funded by Yale University’s Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.

This is episode will consider the question ‘what is good health and how do we support it?’.
Guests will be;
Fabiano Culora, the Co-Director and Vice-President of Mobius Atelier, with a multifaceted background as an accomplished artist, educator, therapist, trainer, and supervisor dedicated to somatic practices and well-being. His extensive training spans multiple disciplines: he is a certified Pilates instructor from Trinity Laban, a yoga teacher trained at Sivananda and Amritapuri ashrams in India, and studied Body Psychotherapy with Processwork UK. Fabiano holds professional certification in Body-Mind Centering®, Authentic Movement, and Somatic Psychology from the Institute for Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy (IBMT), and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, with Advanced Biodynamic Diploma via the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET). Since completing his degree at the University of London in 2001 he has been actively involved in teaching, research, and disseminating knowledge across performative arts and health disciplines on an international scale - including UK, Europe, USA, Russia, and Iceland.
Morag Fallows, a Research Nurse and Yoga Teacher based in Leeds. She has worked in healthcare for over a decade, including clinically within intensive care and palliative medicine, in higher education as a nurse lecturer, and currently in critical care research at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Alongside her nursing practice, Morag teaches weekly restorative yoga classes at Yoga Kula in Leeds. She is currently studying Authentic Movement with the Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy (IBMT). Her work sits at the intersection of Western medicine and embodied approaches to health. Through her own yoga and somatic practice, she became interested in ways of knowing and experiencing the body that sit alongside the anatomical and medical.
Chris Parrish, a medical doctor specialising in treating people with certain types of blood cancers. He works as part of an amazing team of individuals who do their best to look after people going through very difficult treatments at often very difficult times in their lives. Chris is involved in many scientific research projects trying to improve the lives of people living with blood cancers, but knows that what he deals with is only part of living with a lifelong diagnosis, so was delighted to be given the chance to take part in Moving Through Health.
