Buckley and Lycett is a collaboration between artists Hannah Buckley and Kevin Lycett. Their collaboration is interdisciplinary and intergenerational.
Hannah (b. 1985) is a dancer and choreographer with over 15 years experience, working nationally and internationally. In 2025 she graduated as an IBMT Somatic Movement Educator & Therapist. Her artistic and therapeutic practice is a commitment to the body - her body, your body, the collective body - as a resource and as a place for processing, political resistance and knowledge generation.
Kevin (b. 1955) is a visual artist and musician. In 1977 he formed the seminal post punk band The Mekons and toured with them extensively. In 2013 he returned to visual art as his primary practice. He has exhibited widely in the UK and USA.
Hannah and Kevin have been collaborating since 2022 and are dedicated to developing ways of working together, and to creating art, that is rooted in experimentation and the sharing of each other’s practice.
